Palm Bay Elementary

Well I've been away for awhile, for a great reason! Here's a sneak peek of my lat erst work. I was commissioned by Pam Bay elementary to create a series of paintings for their library. It was a ton of fun to work with the school and be apart of their AMAZING art program! truly I owe a big thanks to my friend Mr. Cortes for allowing me to be a part of his classroom!

what's up?

Here's a few sketches for a project I'm working on for Palm Bay Elementary. It's so exciting to be working on artwork for a school and to be doing large scale paintings. I've included pencil sketches, character designs and a color rough(it's really rough I think) Hope you enjoy and I'll share more of the process as the project progresses!

first post of the new year

Well things are starting off slow this new year. All the time I have is dedicated to design. So I thought I'd take some time out to paint in the moon light. Just a quickie.

Yay!! Holiday time!!
this year I am really excited because I am becoming an uncle!!!
It's a great Christmas gift! I just pray the lord brings the baby
through safely and that we all get to eat tons of food together
as a family!

UPDATE!

I've been pretty busy with life again lately, who isn't!!!
My father has been in and out of the hospital, sister is giving birth this Dec.(in just a few weeks!!)
I'm trying to find more WORK and I'm doing a lot of web design and graphic design!
Finally I got a phone call about some freelance! Thank you LORD!! Here's the end product.
It's not my best work but it was nice to not only get to illustrate and get paid for it again but also work with Barry Greyson again. So as for the illustrations, what is it all about!!?? Use your imagination! CHECK OUT MY SKETCH BLOG TOO! You can find a link for it to the left!

That time of the year...

Yes it's time for my favorite season and ONE of my favorite holidays, Halloween! Sadly I've been too busy this year to create several new paintings celebrating this time of the year but I have a few quickies that I've done over the past few weeks. Hopefully you guys enjoy them and HOPEFULLY I'll get something real ghastly up for you soon! Again the scans of these images are poor but it will have to do for now!

Here's a little illustration I did for a children's book illustration club I belong to on Deviant Art.
The theme was MOON and of course that's some of my favorite subject matter that I don't paint enough of. Full moon on the beach that is one of my favorite things to do, yup...I know I'm corny.
